Science Club is designed to help students in grade 4-6 prepare for the Science Olympiad. The students partake in hands-on science experiments and develop a deeper understanding of science concepts. Participation in Gesu Science Olympiad requires at least 2 Science Club sessions.
15 students compete in approximately 23 STEM events ranging in testing to building and experimenting. This is a planned expansion of current Science Olympiad to include an invitational and regional event.
The students learn and practice sewing skills while donating their time to sew items for donation. Alice Elliot is the moderator and Mrs. Shelly Clary Helps with communication (Alice Elliot is not on-site fulltime)
Made of current students, the club focuses on assisting new Gesu students and families as well as offering support to the school community through serving as peer mentors, helping with shadowing, assisting with family tours, and supporting Gesu in all school-wide events
Student Council is a group whose mission is to serve the school community through implementing plans for service projects, meeting with administrators to plan school wide events, and communicating new ideas to the school community.
