Gesu Catholic School has been an important ministry of the Gesu Parish Community for over 90 years. The parish and school were founded in 1926 under the direction of the Sisters of Notre Dame and the Society of Jesus.  The school provides a Christ- centered education with an emphasis on the Jesuit traditions of academic excellence, service to others, and working for the great honor and glory of God.  The school community includes approximately 625 students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 with another 80 students in the Gesu Preschool.

Members of the faculty and staff of Gesu Catholic School are committed to a partnering with students and their families in the development of each child’s individual talents and abilities. The integration of Catholic faith values into every aspect of each day enable teachers to touch both the minds and hearts of their students.  From the early days of their education, Gesu students begin a quest to lead lives of meaning and purpose.  This process builds as students grow and develop each year, finally culminating in a graduate who has a strong moral compass and a compassionate heart open to making exciting contributions to the world ahead.  The successful conclusion of one’s years at Gesu is a proud moment for students, their teachers and parents, as well as the entire parish community.
