We love celebrating our Gesu graduates… and today is a special one!
Gesu alum Suzy Schwabl is making her mark in the world of mechanical and aerospace engineering, recently earning the prestigious Ralph S. Quatrano Prize at Washington University in St. Louis. This award recognizes outstanding leadership, innovation, and impact in engineering.
We couldn’t be more proud!
Some of you may remember when Suzy’s family spent time living out West… and how she proudly wore her Gesu uniform, especially for her school picture. A true testament to her love for Gesu!
The Schwabl family returned, and Suzy and her sister jumped right back into their passions, especially robotics. Now, Suzy is leading engineering teams, managing complex design projects, and even heading to work with SpaceX’s Starlink team.
From Gesu classrooms to cutting-edge engineering… and maybe even space someday?
We are so proud of you, Suzy!

7th Grade had an adventurous field trip on Wednesday. They started their day with a trip to the West Side Market. They concluded their day with a fun filled trip to the Great Lakes Science Center. At the Science Center, students were able to participate in a dissection of a Pig Heart and viewed a nature film in the IMAX theater!
