WHAT

The Mardi Gras Fundraiser has been the driving force behind renovating and modernizing Gesu Catholic school for over 5 years. Every single student is positively impacted through generous donations. This year, funds raised will be used to renovate the Gesu School Cafeteria. Let’s show our Gesu Community pride by coming together and supporting this wonderful event!

Looking to contribute to Gesu Catholic School’s Mardi Gras fundraiser? YOU CAN! Here’s how:

  1. Sponsor. Our sponsorships range from $300-$10,000. Company and/or individual sponsors are encouraged. All sponsorships include VIP TICKETS AND DRINKS. Contact Megan Kavinsky (gesumardigrascle@gmail.com) with any questions. Sponsorships are due by February 2nd. 
  2. Purchase your Mardi Gras event ticket. Encourage your friends and family to purchase a ticket. All are welcome and encouraged to come!  Pre-sale tickets $50 until February 5th, tickets can be purchased at the door for $75 each.
  3. Purchase a $50 tuition raffle ticket where one lucky winner will receive up to a $5,000 tuition credit for the 2024-2025 school year.

What to expect at the event? FUN! Good food (donated by our wonderful community), drinks, live band, live and silent auctions, casino/gambling, and so much more! Throw on your finest fringe, shiny sequins, or just appear with a few party beads.  Cocktail casual is the theme, but regardless, we are just thrilled to have you join the cause! Doors close at 8pm.

Live Auction bidding begins promptly at 8:30pm. Do not miss your chance to out bid fellow parishioners on our crowd pleasing IN-HOME DINNER prepared by our very own Chef Father Laniauskas! 

A huge thank you to all that sponsor, donate, and attend the event. The modernization and renovations are crucial to the future of our beloved Gesu Catholic School.

Planned Improvements

Gesu Catholic School benefits from a wonderful and generous community, for which we are grateful. Gesu Mardi Gras is an annual fundraising event that raises funds to modernize and renovate our school.

This year’s Mardi Gras proceeds will be directed to updating and refreshing the school cafeteria.  First, we would like to air condition the space, second to refresh the paint throughout the cafeteria and finally with all additional funds to repair and/or replace equipment for the kitchen. These renovations would benefit all students and faculty, plus provide a more comfortable space for enjoying lunch. This space is used daily by over 600 students, faculty members, and visiting adults, so these changes would be impactful.
