Dear Gesu Families,
Please read the safety updates below.
Thank you to our Gesu community for your continued commitment to our school and to our safety initiatives. We are eager to move forward with fundraising to offset the cost of safety additions for the 2025-2026 school year!
Our goal is to raise $150,000 towards safety upgrades on campus. There are two ways your family, your friends, or any supporter can donate.

What is Gesu School Annual Giving?
-
Annual Giving is a philanthropic giving program that helps bridge the gap between the actual cost to educate each child and what is paid in tuition. The difference is roughly $1,700 per student.
-
The benefit of using the Gesu School Annual Giving as a way to donate is that donations can be made all year, not just during a specific window.

Has anyone donated yet?
-
Yes! We are grateful to the PTO and to all of our Gesu families who donated towards PTO fundraisers this year and last year. The PTO has approved a $25,000 donation toward school safety. Thank you!
What will the $150,000 cover?
-
The cost of the current full-time security officer on campus until we are able to hire a School Resource Officer
-
The cost of a full-time School Resource Officer
-
The cost of the Centegix Emergency Button Alert System
-
The cost of the Armor Safety Films installed on all first-floor windows on campus
What happens if we raise over $150,000?
-
That would be amazing!
-
Any funds over $150,000 will be used toward Gesu School Annual Giving
How will safety be funded next school year and beyond?
-
In order to ensure these safety measures will continue in the school years to come, a safety cost will be built into tuition beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. This cost will be in addition to our traditional increase in tuition.
AMDG,
Mrs. Regan Kazel
